King Creosote & Jon Hopkins, Diamond Mind. A collaborative project between the two artists. The concept of the cover, drawing inspiration from the song called John Taylor’s Month Away where local Scottish fisherman time away from home town where they are torn apart from the lifestyle they lead, with parallelity the musician leads themselves. The linocut work evokes its feeling of historical textures landscape of the surrounding areas, Typography based on hand carving signage and the simple tonal colour of the cover.
